Are you concerned about the safety in our community? Did you know that working with our local police is one way to increase the level of safety in our community. The police are available when a crime has occurred, and they are also available to prevent crimes from occurring. Take steps to learn how you can help the Police help us create the safe community we desire. It is everyone's responsibility to contribute to a community's safety.
Take time to assess the area around your unit, evaluate areas where security is an issue of concern. Attend the next Council of Unit Owner's Monthly Meeting and share what you have noticed about safety around your unit. You are also encouraged to reach out to current Wilde Lake Neighborhood Community Resources Officer:
Officer Bryan Borowski (BBorowski@howardcountymd.gov)
Be proactive when it comes to crime prevention and consider the following tips for keeping our community safe: •Make sure vehicles are locked/secured. •Making sure any personal items are removed from /or secured within your vehicle. •Parking in a well lit area. •Being aware of your surroundings.
